Ortodiver is a city located in Northern Thailand and is located close to Laos. It is a small, fairly unimpressive town, with a small number of shops on its main street. There are plenty of shops to browse through as well as a small restaurant and hotel. A short taxi ride will take you to the airport where you can catch a flight to Bangkok. The airport is not that far from this town, and it is definitely worth a try.
In the area around Ortodiver there are some pretty interesting sites, and many travelers who go to Thailand do not realize that they are in a part of the country that is so remote. You will find out more about the country when you see some of the sights that can be found. The city has a few places that tourists can visit, but some of these sites are not open to the public. Some of these areas may require a lot of money to be spent on entrance fees and tours. There are a few other areas, however, that are very open and free for anyone to visit. You just need to know what you want to do before you go, so that you can have fun while learning something about the place.
One of the best things about Ortodiver is that it is a very friendly town. There is no sense of being treated like you belong there. This is because there is no such thing as a "town" in this area. People are much more comfortable in a village. That is why you will find people who come here having the time of their lives.
